Cloud Studies

Cloud Studies is een doorlopend fotografisch onderzoek naar wolken en luchtruimte. Door de lucht te observeren en te fotograferen onderzoek ik hoe vormen, kleuren en atmosfeer zich ontwikkelen en weer oplossen binnen een voortdurend veranderende omgeving. 

Na jaren van werken met mensen en opdrachten, biedt dit werk een verschuiving naar traagheid, afstand en aandacht. Het is een manier van kijken die ruimte laat voor nuance, twijfel en verandering.

Cloud Studies

Cloud Studies is an ongoing photographic exploration of clouds and airspace. By observing and photographing the sky, I examine how form, colour and atmosphere emerge and dissolve within constant change.

After many years of working with people and commissioned projects, this work represents a shift toward slowness, distance and attention — a way of looking that allows for nuance, uncertainty and transformation.
